Nicki's Mobile Dog Grooming

What I offer:

I offer one on one mobile grooming. I have a mobile grooming salon my husband and I converted out of an enclosed 6x12 trailer.  It has everything I need to give your pets the best care possible! Your pet gets special treatment all while never leaving their home. I guarantee that your fur-baby will be treated with the utmost care!  Being groomed while never leaving home typically helps with anxiety and allows them to relax and enjoy their spa day!

I also offer in home grooming on a case by case basis for small dogs. I bring my equipment in your home, set up and give them the same treatment as in my mobile salon. I do my best to make sure you and your pet are happy and cared for by the time I leave.

Policys

Safety: Because your dog’s safety is my top priority, I want to assure you every precaution will be taken to provide a safe and stress-free experience for your dog. Due to the intimate nature of the grooming process (or a dog’s tolerance for stress, strangers, or handling) some pets can become anxious or reactive during the grooming service. Because of this, I do require new clients to be present during their dogs’ first grooming session. This promotes a feeling of comfort and familiarity with your dog. If determined that continuation of the grooming service would present a threat to your dog’s emotional or physical health, or my own safety, the service shall be discontinued, and we can discuss further options that are in the dogs’ best interest.  

Vaccination Requirements: I will groom puppies from ages 8 weeks to 16 weeks. However, all adult dogs are required to be current on their rabies vaccinations which owners must be able to show proof of. The frequency of which must be in accordance with state law and administered by veterinarians or veterinary technicians; puppies at 16 weeks and adults every 1-3 years as directed by their veterinarian. There will be a 24 hour wait period after a dog has received their vaccination. The waiting period helps ensure your pet is not sore at the injection site, which could lead to lethargy and irritability.

Matting: If your dog ever becomes severely tangled or matted it could cause risk of injury, stress, and/or trauma. Matted dogs have a greater chance of injury during grooming. All precautions will be taken. However, problems may arise during or after the grooming such as nicks, clipper irritation, and/or mental or physical stress.

Flea and Ticks: All dogs should be flea and tick free. Dogs with signs of fleas and/or ticks will be bathed with a high-quality flea and tick shampoo at the owner’s expense.

Cancellation Policy: I do understand that life happens! Things may come up from time to time and I will be happy to work with you in case of an emergency. However, cancellation within less than 24 hours of your appointment will result in a 50% charge of the grooming fee you scheduled for. Failure to keep appointment without notifying will result in the full price of the grooming fee you were scheduled for. Clients who are 15 minutes past the start time of their scheduled appointment will be charged a late fee or have to be rescheduled with a cancellation fee applied. Please understand appointments are one on one with our clients and I rely on you to be available at the appropriate time.
